Arthur Elgort
was the Vogue fashion photographer who gave Gia her first big break...
and she became a favorite subject. In 1993, he published this collection of hundreds of his best
portraits and candids. More than 500 color and b/w photos featuring
dozens the hottest models
from the 1970's, 80's and 90's.
Gia is one of the few models in this book to receive a chapter
dedicated to her. It includes one of Elgort's first photos of her that ran in American Vogue
in 1978. Additionally, there are five more arresting and rare pictures of Gia
here, along with some personal words about her, from Elgort himself.
